The visitors industry is San Diego's third largest revenue generator behind manufacturing and the military. Approximately 164,000 San Diegans work in businesses directly related to the hospitality including lodging, food service, attractions, and transportation. SDHI is the only Certified Postsecondary Vocational Educational Institution in San Diego that trains individuals for entry level positions in hotels and restaurants, and our industry partners depend on our school to provide them with employees. After completing the 280 hour of training at our school, our students possess the training and knowledge employers look for in their new hires. In addition to training for the hospitality industry, we offer our students assistance with writing resumes, interview preparation, and placement assistance.
